Privacy

This is a static site. There are no accounts, no logins, no forms that send anything anywhere, and no database sitting behind it. Nothing you type into the converter leaves your browser — the calculation runs locally, in the page.

Cookie use

This site runs Google Analytics to count page views and see which pages get read. It sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_35CREWBJ2M, which tell one browser from another, and reports aggregate figures: page views, rough country, device type. It never receives what you typed into the converter, and we don’t sell or share the data.

There is no advertising tag, no session identifier and no cross-site tracker on these pages.

Requests that leave your browser

Two of them, and both are ordinary web requests rather than anything you opt into separately.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Current prices are fetched from a public market data API when the page opens. Each of those providers necessarily sees your IP address and browser user agent, the same way any server sees them when it sends you a file. Their own policies govern what they do with that. If either request fails, the page keeps working with the prices baked into the HTML.

The hosting provider's logs

The server that delivers these files keeps standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, the file requested, the user agent. That's a technical requirement for running a website and for handling abuse, not a profile of you.

When you follow a swap link

Clicking a swap button takes you to a separate service on its own domain. From that moment you're subject to its privacy policy, not this one. It may set cookies, it may run its own compliance checks, and it may ask you for information. None of that data comes back here.

Outbound links carry a plain campaign tag in the URL so the destination can tell which site sent the visit. The tag is the same for everyone and identifies the site, not you.

Not for children

This site isn't intended for anyone under 18, and it collects nothing from anyone regardless of age.

Changes to this notice

If the way the site handles data changes, this page changes with it. The published version is always the current one.
