TRON → Solana · live rate

TRX to SOL,one sendand it's there

Two of the quickest chains in ordinary use, back to back. You send TRX from your wallet, Solana delivers to the address you gave, and most of the clock time is spent reading the screen.

01 — the solana side

What Solana needs from you

A Solana address is base58, somewhere between 32 and 44 characters, and it carries no prefix that tells you what it is. There's no 0x, no leading letter to recognise. Copy it out of your wallet rather than trusting your eyes on a screenshot.

Slots on Solana run at roughly 400 milliseconds, which is why a payout there tends to appear while you're still looking at the confirmation screen. Fees are very low — low enough that they stop being a factor in the arithmetic, which is not something you can say about most chains.

One structural quirk is worth knowing before you receive anything other than SOL itself. SPL tokens don't sit at your main address the way you might assume. Each one lives in its own token account, tied to your address but separate from it. Wallets create and show these for you, so day to day you won't notice. It matters when a balance looks missing: the coins are usually in a token account your wallet hasn't surfaced yet.

This page swaps to SOL, the network's own coin, so token accounts aren't in your way here. Keep them in mind for the next time you receive an SPL token.

02 — timing and cost

Where the minutes actually go

TRON produces blocks about every three seconds, so your deposit registers almost at once. Solana is faster still. Put those together and the swap itself is rarely the slow part — the confirmation policy of whoever is processing the deposit is.

Cost comes from three places, and only the first is visible before you commit. TRON charges you in bandwidth and energy, the two resources the network runs on, which you can cover by freezing TRX instead of paying per action. Solana takes its own very small fee on delivery. And the spread sits inside the quoted rate, which is why the payout is the only number worth comparing between services.

Because both chains are cheap and quick, this pair is a decent place to test a route you haven't used before. Send a small amount first, watch it land, then send the rest. That habit costs you one extra network fee and saves you from the mistake that can't be undone.

03 — questions

TRX to SOL, answered briefly

How fast is a TRX to SOL swap?

Both chains are quick — TRON blocks land about every three seconds and Solana slots run at roughly 400 milliseconds. The wait is set by how many confirmations the deposit needs, not by the chains themselves.

What does a Solana address look like?

Base58, between 32 and 44 characters, with no prefix to identify it. Paste it from your wallet instead of typing it, since there's no obvious shape to check it against.

Do I need SOL in the wallet before I receive?

To receive SOL, no. Your wallet just needs the address. You'll want a small SOL balance afterwards to pay for anything you do next on that chain.

Why is my SPL token balance not showing?

SPL tokens live in token accounts attached to your address rather than in the address itself. A wallet that hasn't indexed the token account yet will show nothing. That doesn't apply to plain SOL.

Can I send TRX from an exchange withdrawal instead of a wallet?

Technically yes, but the withdrawal has to land as one clean transaction with the right amount, and you lose control of the timing. Sending from a wallet you hold the keys to is the calmer option.

What happens if I give a TRON address by mistake?

The two formats look nothing alike, so most forms reject it outright. If it slips through anywhere, the coins go to an address nobody controls. On-chain sends are final, which is why the address check matters more than the rate.
